A Parents View.....

(Editor's Note:  The following is reprinted with permission from the Potomac Maryland Lacrosse page.  We felt it would be of interest to parents, whether you are new to the game or have been chasing lacrosse balls for several generations)

     Just back from the US Youth Lacrosse Festival, I can now say that Kerry’s dad and I are now bona fide Lacrosse Parents. Sure, over the years we’ve learned to explain in just a sentence or two how lacrosse differs from soccer. Like most goalie parents, we can now deal quietly with that paralyzing nanosecond that occurs after the ball is shot. At our daughter. We’ve sat through games in rain, heat and freezing cold. We shared high fives and tears with Kerry after wins and after losses. Still, nothing prepared us for the Youth Festival........
