Donlon to Lead Irish

If you are an athletic director for a team named the Irish, why not find a coach with a good Irish name. That’s exactly what Dublin Scioto AD Kip Whitchey did. Patrick Donlon has been named the new coach of the Dublin Scioto Girls Lacrosse team.

Donlon comes to Scioto after four years as an assistant coach at Olentangy and one year as defensive coordinator for the Westerville club team. He played four years of lacrosse at Worthington Kilbourne High School and is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.

Ohlax.com talked to Donlon about his new position. "After five years of coaching against this program it will be a great honor to be a part of it and help it grow and succeed. We have allot of talent on this team and I am excited to see how far this team is willing to go," Donlon told ohlax.com.
