Ohio is well represented in both the men's and women's
game.
With both men's and women's NCAA Division I & III teams. Both men and
women compete in the Division III North Coast Athletic Conference. The
2001
NCAC Men's Champions were the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops. The
reigning NCAC Women's Champions are the Denison Big Red. Both
teams competed in the NCAA National Tournament. |

New Div I
Conference
Ohio's two Division I Women's teams will be playing in the new "Great
American Lacrosse Conference" beginning in 2002. Both Ohio State and
Ohio University are excited about the new conference and the level of
competition. The conference champion will receive and automatic NCAA
bid in future years. |
